Saldaña, Carvajal & Vélez-Rivé, P.S.C., is the result of a
merger between the law firms of Saldaña & Carvajal, P.S.C., and
Vélez-Rivé Law Offices, P.S.C.
In 1996, Luis N. Saldaña
and Ian P. Carvajal, graduates of the Masters of Law Program in
Maritime and Admiralty Law of Tulane University, founded Saldaña
& Carvajal, P.S.C. In the beginning, most of the firm’s clients
were engaged in maritime transportation. However, as the needs
of the clients grew, so did the firm’s range of legal services.
In November of 2003, Lizette Vélez-Rivé, after eight years
of successful private practice, established Vélez-Rivé Law
Offices, P.S.C., and continued to provide representation to
management in all areas of employment law, as well as in the
areas of civil and commercial litigation. This firm was
committed to providing aggressive and personalized high quality
legal representation to each of its clients, in the most
expeditious and cost efficient manner.
Saldaña, Carvajal
& Vélez-Rivé, P.S.C., is known for its ability to handle
complicated litigation matters successfully and in a
cost-effective manner. We take pride in providing top-quality

P.S.C., also encourages continued legal education and
participation in professional activities and seminars.
It
is Saldaña, Carvajal & Vélez-Rivé, P.S.C., commitment to
continue the legacy of the predecessor firms in an effort to
consolidate their respective areas of practice and, thereby,
expand its services to their representative clients. Saldaña,
