Ms. Gómez-Peña’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, insurance law, and intellectual property matters. As an associate at SCVR, she has assisted in cases involving insurance coverage disputes, regulatory compliance, and contractual claims, among other issues.
Her legal experience also includes property protection, business formation, corporate matters, and sports-related administrative proceedings. Furthermore, prior to joining SCVR, Ms. Gómez-Peña gained professional experience in the health insurance and investment banking industries.
During her legal studies, Ms. Gómez-Peña served as Vice President of the Student Council and a member of her school’s Admissions Committee.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Gómez-Peña serves as Vice President of the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee (COPUR) Weightlifting Athletes’ Commission and as a weightlifting coach at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
